Dr. Jones was born and raised in Oakwood Village, Ohio and received her B.S. in Zoology from Kent State University. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine in California from Western University. Dr. Jones worked for six years at West Geauga Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Jones eventually left West Geauga Veterinary Hospital to pursue her vison and childhood dream of owning her own practice. Dr. Jones initially started the journey by running her own Veterinary house call service. After the success of the house call service, she started her own practice called The Cleveland Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Jones is no stranger to the Veterinary field; she launched her veterinary career in the third grade when she was introduced to the profession on career day. She has been taking care of animals ever since, bringing in strays off the streets, or volunteering at local shelters. She also gained valuable experience working as a Veterinary Technician in several clinics, since 1992. Dr. Jones enjoys all aspects of her profession but has a special interest in behavior and internal medicine. Dr. Jones is certified in Low-Stress Handling and she is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Jones lives a very active life outside of her career. She is so supportive of her two adult children in college and she values her marriage of 22 years to a wonderful man. She adores shopping, horseback riding, watching contemporary dance and spending time with her two dogs Julius and Sadie. In addition to the dogs, she loves to cuddle and snuggle with her four cats and can’t forget about Stitch, her pet Gecko.
Dr. Jones is 100% dedicated to the enhancement and advancement of the Veterinary profession. Dr. Jones is eager to lead a movement that creates a collective societal consciousness that nurtures, protects, and sustains the human-animal bond. She welcomes the chance to earn your trust and is truly grateful for the privilege of caring for your four-legged companion.

Davianntra is currently the Veterinary Assistant at the Cleveland Veterinary Clinic. Davianntra is a hard-working, generous, supportive, and reliable worker who brings a positive cheerful attitude every day while working with staff, clients, and four-legged companions. Davianntra has an absolute passion for providing the best quality care for animals and this love was instilled in her from her childhood days. As a child, Davianntra provided food, love, and shelter for defenseless, homeless kittens in her neighborhood. Davianntra and her sister provided a safe haven for stray animals, especially protecting these innocent animals from angry residents that didn’t understand their needs. Davianntra continued this passion into her professional life, by choosing to work at a cutting-edge hospital where she is getting the first-hand knowledge, education, and practical experience that she needs to continue to pursue her lifelong purpose and dream of improving the lives of animals in need.
